AMERICA’S FIRST COMPUTER ELECTROLOGY SPEACIALIST™©
In 1985 I Kimberly Williams, R.E, Dean of Boston School of Electrolysis™ bought the very first CB—2 Compu-Blend computerized programmable epilator manufactured by R.A. Fischer Company of Glendale, California. That first computerized CB-2 programmable epilator had a drab brown exterior keep board however I was so excited to have the world’s first Comp-Blend CB-2 Computerized Programmable epilator.

After setting it up on my work station and reading the instructions I was amazed that electrolysis manufacturers never would take the time, the effort to call the electrologists and ask, “What would make electrolysis more effective and simpler to use.” Well I was on the phone to Fischer and they said, “This, that, these and those that how it works.” Well I tinkered with the CB-2 and in about half hour later I devised my own programming that really made it simple, efficient and easier to comprehend.
All electrolysis epilators and R.A. Fischer The CB-2 Programmable computerized epilator is bases on the traditional intensity and timing. However the absolute precision control that enhances the electrologists ability when programming a simple short-wave treatment regarding the insertion delay, intensity, timing and pulsing where the electricity that exits the needle into the papillae is accurate to within 1/100th of a second. Programming the Blend and straight Galvanic current with the same accuracy increased my practical application to never levels of accuracy and comfort. This accuracy and fine control completely rendered any tube or combination solid-state electrolysis epilator manufactured before this first CB-2 programmable epilator totally obsolete and of date.
Saying goodbye to the foot-switches was a blessing and increased my ability to perform extremely accurate, steady handed insertions. Of course all these improvements made the patients treatment so much more comfortable. Of course I heard so many electrologists objecting that they could not imagine using a computer for electrolysis treatments.
The computerized epilator seemed challenging to most electrologists who in the eighty’s were computer phobic. Having one of the first Macintosh computers helped me provided me understand because provided with an insight that very electrologists understand to this day. So I have decided to share some of the computerized epilators secrets.
Fact, computerized epilators most notably the R.A. Fischer CB-2 Programmable Epilator in my professional opinion works best in what I term manual override. The instructions for its operation of full automatic or manual and there is no way that any machine can safely select intensity and timing to treat something as delicate as the human skin.
Therefore, I opted for to write my own manual programming based on the traditional treatment and values of timing and intensity. Right now you the electrologists are probably thinking why go with the computer epilator if it’s based on traditional values of timing and intensity?
The computerized epilator holds many secrets in regards to how to best apply it and to maximize its new innovative properties. Since 1985 the Fischer Company and the others who followed in the footsteps have at ten upgrades have resulted in the Industry Standard of which I presently use the CBX-X American made and the worlds most advanced and innovative programmable epilator.
